Early Fish Stocking History on the Antietam


Early in Washington County’s history, a group of men, including Peter Saylor, formed the Antietam Fish Company to conserve, stock and harvest fish in Antietam Creek. Peter Saylor was the builder/owner of the old stone house in Kiwanis Park.
